Ingredients
- 1.75 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 0.75 cups milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Mix dry ingredients and set aside
- Cream butter and sugar
- Beat in eggs, vanilla extract, sour cream, and milk
- In portions, incorporate dry ingredients while slowly beating
- Spoon batter into (optionally lined) cupcake tins, about 2/3rds full to leave room for rising
- Bake 19-22 minutes at 350F, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
- Let cool completely before frosting
