A 9x9" pan of sticky fudge
Ingredients
- 1.5tsp baking soda
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1.5 cups milk
- 2 tbsp (maple or corn) syrup
- 2 tbsp butter
Mixins (optional):
- ~1/2 cup crushed nuts
- spices (vanilla, salt crystals, etc.)
- ~4 oz melted chocolate
- with 1 tsp espresso powder
- with peppermint flavouring
- marshmallow creme
Instructions
- Combine baking soda, brown sugar, salt, and flour in a large pot
- Mix in milk, syrup, and butter
- Cook to soft ball stage (112C / 234F)
- Remove from heat and beat until glossy
- Stir in any of the optional mixins
- Pour in to a buttered pan to cool
