Ingredients

  • 1/4c saké
  • 1/4c soy sauce
  • 1/2c mirin
  • 2"x2" piece of kombu
  • 1/2 - 1 cup katsuobonito

Instructions

  1. Bring the sake to boil in a medium pot. Let the alcohol evaporate for a few seconds
  2. Add soy sauce, mirin, kombu, and katsubonito
  3. Bring to a boil and simmer on low for 5 minutes...
